CASE STUDY: Real-time treasury: from digital money to corporate execution

Location:Delegate Room 2

Every treasury leader has heard about stablecoins, tokenized deposits and the promise of programmable, real-time cross-border payments. Most have seen the roadmaps and presentations. Far fewer have had the opportunity to hear directly from a corporate practitioner who has built these capabilities and can explain what they required in practice.

In this session, Siemens’ Heiko Nix and NeuGroup co-moderators Joseph Neu and Ron Chakravarti explore the capabilities, maturity and technology choices required to build a real-time treasury – from stablecoins and tokenized deposits to programmable payments, 24/7 cross-border liquidity and real-time FX.

There is no single blueprint: drawing on Siemens’ practical experience as one example, the session examines how each treasury can determine the use cases, infrastructure and forms of digital money that best fit its business model, operating model and level of maturity. The NeuGroup co-moderators will share additional practitioner-validated perspectives drawing from their recent exchanges.
